Ingredients:
Crust:
ā¾ļø2 Ā½ cups all-purpose flour
ā¾ļø1/2 tsp salt
ā¾ļø1 tbsp sugar
ā¾ļø1 cup very cold unsalted butter, cubed
ā¾ļø7 tbsp ice water
Filling:
ā¾ļø5-6 medium granny smith apples, cored and sliced very thinly
ā¾ļø3/4 cup granulated sugar (1 cup if you like very sweet pies)
ā¾ļø1 tsp cinnamon
ā¾ļø1/4 tsp nutmeg
ā¾ļø4 tbsp flour
ā¾ļø1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
ā¾ļø1/4 cup water
ā¾ļø1 egg, beaten
ā¾ļøextra sugar for sprinkling on top
Bake pie at 375 degrees for 55-65 min. Make sure you see the middle bubble up so that apples are done and donāt come out crunchy š
