Easy Beef Stroganoff Recipe

This quick dinner is a favorite in our household and Bohdan especially loves it since it reminds him of his hometown in Ukraine. Easy to make and tastes great as leftovers as well!

Ingredients:

◾️1 lb top sirloin steak (new york strip works as well)

◾️2 tbsp olive oil

◾️1 small onion, chopped

◾️16 oz mushrooms, sliced

◾️2 garlic cloves, minced

◾️2 tbsp flour

◾️1 ½ cups chicken broth (use whatever broth you like, beef will add a deeper flavor)

◾️1/4 cup dry red wine (optional)

◾️1 cup heavy whipping cream

◾️1/2 cup sour cream

◾️1 tsp salt

◾️1/2 tsp pepper

◾️1 tbsp mustard

Parsley or chives for garnish if desired

Serve with egg noodles or mashed potatoes
